Easy Digital Downloads Currency Converter extension makes it easy for your customers to convert product prices into their preferred currency.
It uses Open Exchange Rates to convert your product prices to your customers’ preferred currency. The extension features automatic currency detection and a responsive design. Orders are still processed using the base currency set in the Easy Digital Downloads settings; converted prices are for reference only.
Automatically detects the customer’s currency based on their location, so they can spend more time browsing your products.
Shortcode for displaying the customer’s saved currency in the menu label.
Manage currencies with drag-and-drop functionality.
Option to replace the base currency price with the converted price, or display the converted price alongside the base currency price in brackets (when a currency other than the base currency is selected).
Allow users to select their preferred currency from a dropdown menu on the frontend using the [edd_select_currency] shortcode.
Use currency aggregators to get exchange rates from Open Exchange Rates or enter rates manually.
Ability to add custom currencies with custom symbols.
If the customer’s saved currency is different from the base EDD currency, they will be notified on the cart page that all orders are processed in the base currency only.
Option to append the currency code to product prices.
